Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ClassEdge HQ, a trading name of Divyn Ventures Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses and protects personal data. It applies to studio owners and staff we contact, and to visitors who submit our audit form.

1. Who we are

Divyn Ventures Private Limited is a company incorporated in India, trading as ClassEdge HQ. Contact: hello@classedgehq.com.

Because we process personal data of people in the UK in connection with offering services to UK businesses, UK GDPR applies to our processing.

2. What data we collect

• (a) If you submit our audit form at classedgehq.com: your name, studio name, email address, and city or town.
• (b) If we contact you directly (cold outreach): your studio’s publicly listed business name, Google Business Profile details (review count, ratings, listed categories, photos, booking link status), and a business contact email address sourced from your studio’s public website or public Google listing.
• (c) If you become a client: the above, plus billing details processed via our payment provider, and any information you provide to complete your Google Business Profile fixes (e.g. login access via Google’s Manager invite system — we never receive or store your Google account password).

We do not collect special category data (health, financial, or other sensitive personal data) about individuals, and we do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.

3. How we use your data

Where we rely on legitimate interests for cold outreach, we’ve considered that: the communication is business-to-business, relevant to your professional role, sent from a clearly identifiable sender, and includes a straightforward way to opt out of further contact. You can object at any time — see Section 7.

4. Cold outreach and opt-out

Outreach emails are sent via Instantly.ai from outreach@getclassedgehq.com. Every outreach email includes an unsubscribe mechanism. If you ask us directly (by replying “unsubscribe,” “no thanks,” or similar, or emailing hello@classedgehq.com) we will stop contacting you and remove you from future outreach lists.

5. Who we share data with

We use the following service providers (data processors) to run our business. Each only receives the data needed for their function:

• Instantly.ai — sends and tracks cold outreach emails
• Google Workspace — hosts our business email
• Resend — delivers audit form submissions to our inbox
• Vercel — hosts our website
• Wise / Stripe — process payments (client data only)

We do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not share data with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

6. International data transfers

We are based in India. Where personal data of UK individuals is processed by us or our service providers outside the UK, we rely on the service providers’ own compliance mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses) where applicable.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests (including cold outreach)
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@classedgehq.com. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data.

8. Data retention

• Audit form submissions and prospect data collected for outreach: retained for up to 24 months from last contact, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever is sooner.
• Client data: retained for the duration of the engagement plus any period required for accounting or legal purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records).

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including restricting access to business tools and never storing payment card details ourselves (handled entirely by our payment providers).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version live on classedgehq.com/privacy is the current one.
